Memory Deconstruction, mostly recorded between 2014 - 2016, combines a healthy dose of sound collage plus found sound, field recordings and electronic excursions. Diverse tracks that I think fit well together, hopefully providing the listener a continual shift in emotion & thought. After losing our family matriarch and my best friend in the span of 6 months, I've realized the need to work to keep memories of both loved ones bright and immediate, not wanting to realize down the road that that their presence has faded and not as integral a part of my life as they once were. The tracks on Memory Deconstruction remind me of snippets of the hazy, disjointed & clear memories that make up the whole of one person's remembrances of another; that these memories are always reoccurring and never erased.
